Entering and Leaving of the Port of Lanshan, China - update

The Club has advised Members through previous circular(12/10-03) to take caution in order to prevent their vessel from entering fishery farms around navigation channels of Lanshan port, China.

According to the Huatai Qingtao Office, the Clubs correspondent in China, in recent years an increased number of claims have resulted from incidents involving vessels passing near fisheries, which are continuously expanding, located close to navigation channels. In this regard, the Club recommends once again that the vessel entering and leaving from the port of Lanshan should strictly keep the designated route for the prevention of accidents and maintain a proper lookout and a safe navigation speed. For more information regarding the foregoing, Members are advised to take note of the Korean translations of the Circular prepared by the Huatai Qingtao Office.
